We moved from Randfontein to Fourways using Rent-A-Box. The easy stacking made packing simple and organized and our movers had the stacks of Rent-A-Boxes loaded on the truck in a flash. The traveled and stored well - I can't imagine doing a cross country move that involves lots of loading and unloading with just cardboard boxes. The staffs were all wonderful too. We will absolutely use Rent-A-Box again!

I absolutely loved my Rent-A-Box experience. First,
they were the only company who were able to deliver the Eco-boxes on short
notice (i.e. within the day – Saturday nogal!).
They arrived on time and the Eco-boxes were super clean.
Overall, they made packing a lot easier. I didn't have to assemble those
expensive environment-unfriendly cardboard boxes. They were big enough to
hold most household items and light enough that I could manage them. They
stacked neatly on top of one another. I used masking tape for labels
which I peeled off after. Best of all, as it was raining, all of my stuff
stayed dry.
Last, when comparing the costs to other cardboard box suppliers, I honestly
believe I got the best bang for my buck and the environment from Rent-A-Box.

Their Eco-boxes are way better than cardboard. Feels
great not to contribute to the landfill with more ripped cardboard boxes from
being overloaded.
Service was great, people were friendly and responded quickly when my Eco-boxes
weren't delivered during the timeframe I asked for.
Can't say anything negative about Rent-A-Box. Wish them the best of

I have moved 11 times in 10 years and I wish I could say that I have less stuff and that it gets easier. It doesn't save for the fact that two moves ago I started using Rent-A-Box. No begging for boxes at the grocery store and shlepping them around, no boxes breaking or not being big enough. I think Rent-A-Box is a genius idea and it's taken most of the pain out of packing. I wish they would get a plastic wardrobe that is collapsible, though they told me to watch this spaceL The service is excellent and affordable and I will definitely use them for my next move - though hopefully not soon ; )

We were moving a large franchise hardware store and the Eco-boxes were ideal for the small pricey items that can get lost or stolen during the move. Rent-A-Box came to the party with 600 Eco-boxes for 3 months at such a competitive rate. They also provided us with sequentially numbered cable ties that allowed us to lock the Eco-boxes & ensure that the contents were not tampered with. This came in quite handy because we had a break-in at the warehouse where the goods were all stored in strapped and shrink-wrapped pallets. The strapped and sealed Eco-boxes prevented the thieves from even trying to open the pallets up. We saved a huge lot thanks to the Eco-boxes – cardboard boxes would never have allowed us to do the same!

I have used Rent-A-Box's services twice, and recommend
whenever I have a chance. The fact that the Eco-boxes are durable, fit a lot of
contents, are stackable and are delivered and then picked up when you're done
make their services totally worth it.
For my last two moves, I ordered the 1-bedroom kit. It more than sufficed - and
I actually ended up with a few empty Eco-boxes. The guys at Rent-A-Box are very
helpful, accommodating, friendly, and a pleasure to deal with. I'll be moving
again soon, and you bet that we'll be using Rent-A-Box again.

Being the world’s worst mover, these guys made my life significantly easier. It is a fairly straightforward concept - you order the Eco-boxes, the team drops them off then picks them up again one, two or three weeks later. What I found excellent was the high level of service, something that I have never found in the moving industry (I acknowledge that technically these guys aren't in the moving industry). Our driver called ahead the day before to confirm the drop-off time was still suitable for us, then again on the day. Very professional guys (he politely declined the beer I offered him on a Friday afternoon, around 25 degrees) who seem to take a great deal of pride in their work. Also having three weeks is a great incentive to unpack - however I was still able to negotiate a couple of extra days when it was apparent that I was not going to be able to get the Eco-boxes empty in time for pickup. The only con - the Eco-boxes can take a ton of stuff - and as a result can be really heavy.

An awesome company! I had heard about Rent-A-Box when they
were first starting up and filed their name away in the back of my mind for my
next move. When it finally came time to pack up my old home and head for new
digs, I looked them up and right away ordered 25 Rent-A-Boxes. They arrived
right on time, and by ordering the Eco-boxes five days before the move, I was
able to stick to an easy schedule of packing 5 Eco-Boxes a day. On moving day,
the were very happy to see that they had a Rent-A-Box move, and the Rent-A-Boxes
really did make the move go so much faster than had I used cardboard. Unpacking
went quickly as I was motivated to have all the Rent-A-Boxes ready for their
pickup day, and on pickup day they were scooped up on time and went off to do
their next job.
A very friendly company with great customer service and a really great idea
that'll keep you sane and keep our environment green.

I heard about Rent-A-Box through a friend at work. Great
concept, even better service, and I'm helping out the environment in a small
way. Website is very easy to use. Confirmation of booking was sent right away,
even received a couple of phone calls to ensure the timing of dropping off the Eco-boxes.
This saved me a ton of time running around looking for cardboard boxes.
I hired movers to move my two bedroom apartment. I figure I saved the cost of
renting the Eco--boxes in the time savings of stacking and organizing. The Eco-boxes
stack perfectly into the truck so it takes a lot less time for the movers to
try and play tetris with your cardboard boxes of different sizes.
Only caution is don't pack them too heavy. Remember someone has to move the box
once it is ready to go.
I have recommended Rent-A-Box to co-workers and friends, they have all had
similar positive experiences.

These guys are good. I used these guys after leaving my move until the last minute. Heard about Rent-A-Box through a friend. I went to their website (great site) and booked the number of Eco-boxes I thought I needed. Two days later they arrived at my door. The Eco-boxes are good for moving - and stacked nicely into my rented truck.
When I was finished, they came and took them all away. And even though I originally didn't care too much about the environmental aspect (I rented out of convenience), it was nice not to have break down and throw away a bunch of cardboard after the move.
The only downside was their delivery truck had trouble finding parking on my block when they came to deliver the Eco-boxes. But even then, they walked them down the street and right to my front door. Great concept, very good service. Would use them again and recommend them to anyone who is moving. It certainly take away one of the headaches.

I used Rent-A-Box last month. They dropped off more Eco-boxes than I needed. It was nice to not run out of boxes while packing! Plus they were a bit cheaper than buying boxes from a moving/packaging store... and good for the environment too – fab idea!

We have a constant requirement for Eco-boxes at work and the fact that Rent-A-Box can respond at the drop of hat makes it so convenient. We have now got 200 units on site for any of our moves at a price far less than what we used to spend on cardboard boxes per month!

AS GOOD AS IT GETS! If you use Rent-A-Box, you will be hooked. It is amazingly convenient, you can stack everything and carry it easily. I have used Rent-A-Box twice now and suggest it every time I hear somebody is moving. They even allowed me to collect at their premises – saving me some cash in delivery & collection!

A friend told me about this business. They drop off re-usable plastic Eco-boxes. The Eco-boxes are really sturdy and hold lots of stuff. They are so much more convenient than packing with cardboard. I saved tons of time not having to pick up boxes and then tape them up. After my movers moved them (they loved how easy they were to work with), Rent-A-Box came to my new place and picked them up -no breaking down boxes and trying to get someone to take them away. As a bonus these guys do all they can to be sustainable and use these boxes hundreds of times. Great experience and I'd highly recommend them.

I will NEVER consider moving ever again without using Rent-A-Box. And I would recommend anybody who is moving house or office to give them a call. Great company, great service, great price. Our moving company let us down with the cardboard boxes promised 4 days before our move. Another cardboard company quoted us and gave us a 4 day lead time to deliver boxes for our office move. I was in a flat panic when I gave Rent-A-Box a call. They re-assured me and made available 300 of their Eco-boxes the following afternoon. My move went super-smooth & when I requested a further 100 Eco-boxes 2 days later, they came to my rescue (don’t under-estimate how much junk you can collect!). They even waived delivery fees on the 2nd delivery coz of the number of Eco-boxes ordered – very sweet! Suffice it to say I got a small bonus for using them for the move – everyone thought the eco-friendliness of the Eco-boxes was just what the company needed!
